Updated 1/1/12

Our last trip of the year was awesome, all limits! Sure is a shame the season is over but it sounds like we will be able to fish year round for seabass starting this May.

Updated 12/28/11

Well better late then never I guess, the Sea Bass run is in full swing, we had mostly limits yesterday with fish up to 7 pounds. We still have a couple trips left before the season is closed so its now or never to fill up that freezer, I know I am!

Updated 12/21/11

The fishing on our last three trips have been about the same with a little improvement with Sea Bass. The wrecks are also producing some Cod, Ling, and Pollock.

Updated 12/12/11

We had much better fishing this weekend, 10 to 20 Sea Bass per man with some limits. The Bass are mostly 3 to 7 pounds. We have also been catching a fair amount of Cod and Pollock which have been taking the pools on every trip. Some of the wrecks seem to have a fair amount of Ling and we are still seeing a few Blues around.

Updated 12/05/11

We did three offshore trips last weekend, we tried three different areas with about the same results, 4 to 10 Sea Bass per man. Last year we started a week earlier and had fair fishing but the first week in December last year was excellent, I'm hoping that they are a week late this year and we have good fishing this coming weekend. We caught some Cod, Pollock, and Ling on every wreck, no big numbers but an improvement over the past several years.

Updated 11/30/11

I thought I would add some pictures from an offshore trip we made three weeks ago. We did fair with the Sea Bass but the pollock fishing was really good, we had 36 pollock, most of them were 30 pounders.
